Six ways to work with Ecoboo.

Ecoboo already has the thing that is hardest to build: distribution into student hostels, on eight campuses, through people who live there.

Institutional

Universities & entrepreneurship units

Ecoboo operates on campus as a declared branch of one registered enterprise, which keeps the compliance picture simple for a university. We work with faculty entrepreneurship units and student affairs offices on approvals, and are pursuing MASMED recognition campus by campus.

See examples
  • Approval to operate within hostel and faculty grounds
  • MASMED recognition per campus
  • Entrepreneurship programme placements for students
  • Live case material for entrepreneurship modules
Supply

Suppliers & wholesalers

Snacks, beverages, print consumables and food vendors looking for distribution directly into student hostels. Ecoboo buys per campus and restocks weekly, so demand is steady rather than seasonal — and we can tell you exactly what sold.

See examples
  • Weekly restock orders across eight campuses
  • Snacks, instant noodles, biscuits, confectionery
  • Chilled and canned beverages
  • Paper, toner, binding and lamination consumables
  • Daily meal vendors wanting hostel distribution
Services

Print & service partners

Print shops, binding and laminating services, and digital service providers. Printing is the highest-volume line on most campuses and peaks hard around submission and exam weeks — if you have spare capacity in those windows, we can fill it.

See examples
  • Overflow printing during submission weeks
  • Thesis and FYP binding at volume
  • Lamination, cards and certificates
  • Design, web and portfolio services resold at student rates
Brands

Brand & product trials

Brands that want a live student market to test a product in, with honest sell-through data rather than survey responses. Trials run on real campuses against a real revenue gate, and you get the numbers whether they are good or bad.

See examples
  • Four to eight week product trials on selected campuses
  • Sell-through, repeat rate and margin reported back
  • Poster and campus group distribution included
  • Direct student feedback from the sellers themselves
Sellers

Marketplace sellers

Students who already make or resell something and want the Ecoboo brand, poster network and payment rail behind it. Free to register, no listing fee, and you keep 80% of gross profit on what you sell.

See examples
  • Homemade food, bakes and drinks
  • Thrift, preloved and handmade goods
  • Tutoring, notes and academic help
  • Photography, design and event services
Expansion

New campus launch partners

Someone on a campus Ecoboo has not reached who wants to open and run it. This is the fastest route to a General Operator role — and the capital comes from us, not from you.

See examples
  • We fund the opening stock and printing commitment
  • Headquarters runs the campus intelligence with you
  • You get the systems, suppliers and poster network from day one
  • Volunteers can help open a campus without running it
Expansion

Opening a new campus.

Ecoboo does not launch a campus on enthusiasm. Every site goes through the same four stages — and the capital comes from us.

01

Campus intelligence

Before any money moves: kitchen and storage access, how students on that campus actually spend, what competition already exists, hostel and warden rules, and who the credible local leaders are. Headquarters does this with you, not to you.

02

We put the capital in

A campus opens on roughly RM1,000 of goods and RM3,000 committed to printing. That is our money, not yours. A launch partner is never asked to fund opening stock, and never carries the loss if the campus does not work out.

03

The four-week check

A new campus aims for RM3,000 of revenue in its first four weeks. Clearing it means the campus is working and gets restocked and expanded. Missing it means we review and adjust — usually the product mix, sometimes the timing — rather than quietly bleeding money.

04

You take the campus

Once it is running and has a roster, the campus is yours to operate as General Operator — holding the QR, setting local pricing, and carrying the semester target with the full support of headquarters behind you.

Our backing

We back you. The capital risk sits with us.

The most common reason someone does not start a business on their campus is money — they do not have it, and they should not be risking it. We have structured this so that question never comes up.

  • You do not fund the stock Opening inventory and the printing commitment come from Ecoboo's own working capital.
  • You do not sign a personal guarantee There is no debt attached to a launch partner and nothing to repay if a campus underperforms.
  • You inherit a working system Pricing models, supplier contacts, poster templates, the QR rail and the AI operations layer are all already built.
  • Headquarters stays involved The founder and the executive team work the first weeks with you directly — this is the part most people underestimate.
  • A campus that fails is our loss, not yours We would rather stop a site early and keep the relationship than push a partner into carrying something that is not working.

What you contribute is time, knowledge of your own campus, and follow-through. That is the part money cannot buy.

Always recruiting

Tell us what you have, we will tell you where it fits.

Supply, services, institutional approval, a brand trial, or a campus waiting to be opened — all of it starts with the same message. And if you are a student who just wants to start selling: we are always recruiting, and all training is free.
